SOLID TEAK, 15cm of close-grained solid teak, a timber chosen for its stability and warm colour, so the rule stays flat and true on a desk or drawing board.
INLAID BRASS CODE FLAG PANEL – A brass panel set into the face carries the numeral pennants of the International Code of Signals, each one engraved and picked out in coloured enamel infill.
BRASS STRIP ALONG ONE EDGE – A brass strip is inlaid into one edge so the working edge stays dead straight for drawing or cutting, and does not soften with use the way a bare timber edge does.
MARKED IN INCHES AND CM – Both scales are marked on the rule, so it reads equally well for imperial and metric work without a second ruler on the desk.
A PREMIUM PIECE MADE TO LAST – Beautifully made from materials that age well, and a natural gift for sailors, navigators, architects and anyone who keeps a proper desk.
