SOLID BRASS HUB AND FITTINGS – The centre casting and accents are solid brass, lacquered to a gentle gloss so the warm colour stays bright with nothing more than an occasional dust.

HANDCRAFTED INDIAN ROSEWOOD – Arc-shaped sections of Indian rosewood are laid up in overlaps around turned spokes to form the rim, in the time-honoured way, with the grain left visible under a polished finish.

SUBSTANTIAL AT AROUND 2KG – A weight that feels like the real thing in the hand rather than a lightweight or moulded plastic copy, and light enough to hang on sturdy hooks or screws through the hub.

RETRO REPRODUCTION, NOT AN ANTIQUE – Decorative only and not intended for steering a boat. Handmade throughout, so small natural variations in grain, colour and finish are normal between pieces.
