This gorgeous little POTBELLIED CAST IRON CAULDRON is supplied with a matching lid and handle. Cauldrons have been used in pagan rituals and spellcasting for centuries, they are traditionally associated with magic and sorcery.

This would be the perfect piece for a pagan collection or perhaps just for a rural country styled kitchen

The cauldron stands 10cm high and has a diameter of 7cm |4 Inches (H) x 2.5 inches diameter

Cauldrons have largely fallen out of use in the developed world as cooking vessels. While still used for practical purposes, a more common association in Western culture is the cauldrons use in witchcraft. In fiction, witches often prepare their potions in a cauldron. Also, in Irish folklore, a cauldron is purported to be where leprechauns keep their gold and treasure.

Cauldrons are often used to burn loose incense on a charcoal disc, to make black salt used in banishing rituals, for mixing herbs, or to burn petitions, paper with words of power or wishes written on them.
